WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Stinson is looking for an Account Manager to oversee key retainer accounts for the company. The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth management of projects through our design team, working closely with design and content consultants.

As an Account Manager at Stinson, you will effectively provide strategic solutions with a dedicated focus on the client experience while nurturing client relationships and facilitating the overall growth of your respective accounts. This is a mid-level position, requiring leadership and experience working in fast-paced, client-focused agency environments. A successful candidate will demonstrate solid business acumen, inspired strategic thinking, and exceptional organization & management skills.

SOME OF WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations for existing clients by attending key meetings with clients and designers/consultants, including internal project briefs, project kickoff meetings, etc.
  • Provide relevant and accurate project proposals, including budget, timelines, etc. to clients.
  • Collaborate with project managers and creative teams to manage timelines, budget, and strategy on each deliverable.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively take actions or propose solutions that maximize business opportunities.
  • Maintain the CRM database for respective accounts, ensuring all client and project information is accurate and updated in real-time.
  • Demonstrate industry knowledge and apply expertise to specific business challenges.
  • Continuously improve client relationships and drive client satisfaction and success, demonstrated through client retention/return and positive feedback.
  • Achieve account KPI’s and facilitate profitable delivery of services.
  • Track and present project and performance reports to client stakeholders, proactively addressing any updates or concerns.
  • Present monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports to the Account Director, proactively addressing any updates or concerns.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3-5 years of agency/top brand experience as an Account Manager (or equivalent), preferably in design, communications, media/advertising, or related industry.
  • University or College degree/diploma in business, communications, marketing or related field.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, and driven self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take direction and apply feedback.
  • Collaborative mindset, positively contributing to client and team success.
  • Experience overseeing projects through the creative process, ensuring they are strategic, on time, and on budget.
  • Strong understanding of planning, event management, and creative production processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and overseeing multiple accounts, with a strong ability to multitask and maneuver from one topic to the next.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking/strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize, organize, and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM and design tools is a plus.

Downtown Toronto/Home office (3/2 split).
