WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Stinson is looking for a Presentation Consultant in the tech and finance field to work as a visual knowledge translation expert. This person will be tasked with presenting technical and financial concepts in a unique and visual way.
As a Presentation Consultant at Stinson, you will work closely with our project managers and creative directors to create clear and engaging presentations using sharp visuals, animations, and tailored graphics. With a balance of autonomy and guided training, our designers become experts in visual communication, design consulting, and of course, PowerPoint design.
SOME OF WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design with purpose. Understand the content of presentations and utilize best design practices to persuade, inform, or entertain the audience
- Conceptualize new branding and/or designs for clients, from startups to Fortune 500s
- Consult on the visual story and flow of content to create engaging presentations
- Create data visualizations that are clear and easy to understand
- Re-design PowerPoints, marketing collateral, and other design material to match clients’ brand guidelines
- Design custom graphics, from icons to isometric illustrations
- Assist on large-scale projects, including high-visibility, big-stage events
- Lead client-facing working sessions while making changes on the fly to meet tight deadlines
- Keep up with design trends and be an influential design partner to clients
WHAT YOU BRING
- Minimum 3 years of graphic design experience
- Past client-facing experience with excellent verbal and written comprehension
- Meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management skills
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong sense of visual aesthetics and typography
- Ability to quickly digest information
- Degree in graphic design, illustration, or related field
