JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Presentation Designer is responsible for designing captivating, eye-catching presentations that help companies worldwide achieve their goals through effective storytelling.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of presentation design experience;
  • 3+ years experience in client-facing roles with excellent verbal and written comprehension. Specifically, you have experience working closely with executives, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback;
  • Meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management skills;
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
  • Strong sense of visual aesthetics and typography;
  • Ability to quickly digest information;
  • Degree in graphic design, illustration, or related field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job;
  • Interpreting the client’s business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
  • Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes for clients;
  • Receiving client calls and following up with existing clients;
  • Ensure projects meet technical requirements, objectives, and timelines while upholding the brand standards;
  • Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research;
  • Work closely with our project managers to create clear, engaging presentations using sharp visuals, animations, and tailored graphics;
  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
  • Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
  • Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers;
  • Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design;
  • Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;
  • Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief;
  • Design with purpose- understand the content of presentations and utilize best design practices to create layouts for optimal viewing
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as
    • InDesign, PowerPoint, Keynotes, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat;
  • Developing interactive designs and demonstrating illustrative skills
  • Commissioning illustrators and photographers, working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, illustrators, other designers, account executives, and marketing specialists.

WORK LOCATION

Downtown Toronto/Home office (3/2 Split).
